NOVEMBER 8, 2012 - NEW YORK AUTOFEST in conjunction with WBAB and GRILL 454 will be conducting the New York AutoFest Hurricane Sandy Benefit Car Show at Grill 454 in Commack, NY on November 25, 2012 from 9am to 4pm. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Hurricane Sandy Long Island Disaster Relief, a campaign of Newsday Charities, a fund of the Robert R. McCormick Foundation.

Newsday, News 12 Long Island and the McCormick Foundation have joined forces to help Long Islanders struggling with the damage, destruction and grief from Hurricane Sandy. The first $500,000 raised will be matched by the Foundation at 50 cents on the dollar. All administrative expenses are paid ensuring 100% of all donations, plus the match, will help Long Islanders rebuild from the devastation. Funds collected will be used ONLY on Long Island to help local nonprofits assisting Long Island Hurricane Sandy victims.

Just to add to the information you are able to pre registar on autofest website this is not a judged show
However there will be about 5 trophys given out by autofest Best in show' peoples best grill454 best. This is really to help the people affected by hurricane sandy good food music chinese raffle celebrity surprise and hanging out

1) trophy .... probably the usual autofest die hards ...hmmmm...blue gt500. sal u know who.
2) help out people affected by hurricane
3) theyre going to raffle "me" off .... im the only asian sensation i see at car shows
4) celebrity surprise ..... fat cannoli eating guys ? henry winkler ? betty white ?
5) hanging out with my buds ..... priceless.

Finally 100% charity car show for hurricane victims say what you want about autofest they showed a lot more class than last weeks show no mention of hurricane victims or the veterans that came to show. Classless Act by Classless Organization sorry i went except to see my friends. I may have to reconsider my attendance at future shows held by them

are we meeting before show . I know of a dunkin donuts on vets hwy - hauppague (@ waldbaums shopping center , about a 1/4 mile west of motor parkway on n/s ) and fairly close to show .

the hauppage dunkin donuts is good for me.

Frank Saleen spoke to leo and he said to be there before 8 am so we can park as part of the show. Because once they fillup. Parking will go to the side of building away from show. I think we should meet no later than 715 OR 730 is that good with you steve

dunkin donuts in hauppauge should be good !!!

hey everyone.7 am to meet should be good.there are alot of clubs coming to this,not just mustang clubs.i know if we're not early we will end up on the side because theres not alot of spaces right in front of the building. lets get a great turnout for this charity show.

I"m not camping out for black friday I"m going to camp out saturday night at grill 454 so I can have the best spot for sundays show.

Nassau and city guys meet at Seacrest diner on Glen Cove road and Jericho turnpike .
Be there by 7:30......by the the way diner is closed for renovations.

sal, if youre camping out .....pay my $20 and save my spot with your sleeping bag.
i hope they have some food and coffee ....it might be chilly.

kevin. i'm still looking to get there earlier. as in the previous post..leo says if your not there before 8 oclock you may not be in front of the grill but somewhere off to the side. if you want to go later thats fine but i will go earlier as i want to get a good spot .i'm willing to be at the haupage d.d. at 7:15 if some want to meet then but i think 8 is going to put us away from the main show. let me know who wants to meet at 7:15.
