Subject: Night Before Christmas for the Mustang enthusiast !

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the town
Not a Mustang was growling, not even a Roush.
The Stangs were all parked in our garages with care,
In hopes the new show season will soon be here.
The Oil was changed to protect the heads,
I sure hope the battery, doesn’t go dead;
and mamma was complaining, I was taking a nap !
Was just getting tired of taking her Crap.
When out from the street came such a roar,
I sprang from the couch and went to the door.
When, what did my wondering eyes look and see.
,but the spirit of ”Carroll Shelby” in a 500 GT
That little old driver , changing gears so quick;
I Knew in a moment it was a short throw stick.
More rapid then Hemi’s his coursers they came,
and he whistled, and shouted and called them by name;
“ Now Steeda, Jack Roush and Steve Saleen
Let’s keep that “Bullet” coming Mr. McQueen !
A Mach 1 and a Boss were burning up tread;
both had their tach’s , pegged into the red !
Pistons were stroking and tires were smoking,
I was laughing so hard, I was almost choking.
Ran out to my driveway to give them a shout;
Please give me a second to pull my one out !
,but all I could hear as they drove out of sight,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good night.
